This Monday at our regular meeting time (12-2) we had an early pancake celebration. We offered the infamous breakfast Pastry alongside our tea and chats biscuits. Last Monday saw another great turnout at our weekly tournament in our first ever doubles format, with 24 players battling it out for gold. A very high standard was seen, with 3 180's hit and many high checkouts. The groupstage saw Nathan and Marcus finish in first place, followed by Jonathan and Pádraig and Tadhg and Aaron B in second and third place. The lads secured top spot with 8 wins from 9, only suffering defeat in round 3. We are 3 points clear of UCD in 2nd place. The league now splits to 2 sections.
