MU Boxing Club is for anyone who is interested in learning to box, looking to compete or just maintain their boxing skills. All levels are welcome from beginners to experienced boxers. Boxing is great for fitness levels and is a great way to build confidence and become acquainted with like minded students. Once our boxers become confident in their skills we travel to clubs to spar and train and will be entering competitions. Every year we enter the IATBA inter-varsities in March which is the main tournament the club enters ( from Novice boxers - Elite boxers). Last year we came away with two gold medals and one silver which was the best we have ever done! This year we hope to enter more tournaments and win more medals with more boxers. We train every Tuesday (7-8pm) and Thursdays  (7-8:30pm) in the small sports hall in the confident hands of our very experienced coach Paddy Gallagher. For beginners all you need to bring is yourself, ¬2euro and lots of water! Make sure you join our facebook page for training notices and up dates : MU Boxing Club.

We have a WOMENS BOXERCISE class on every wednesday at 1-2pm in the small sports hall. This caters for females looking to get fit the easy way, through Boxing!
