About Biology Society

The Biology Society is Maynooth University's oldest society, and home to all things biological and biomedical.

Whether you're a biology major, a curious learner, or someone who simply loves nature, there's a place for you here! We offer a range of activities including guest lectures from esteemed scientists, hands-on workshops, field trips, and exciting discussions on current biological research and environmental issues.

With the success of last years biology ball, the new committee is hard at work to make this a yearly event!!

Join us to dive into the fascinating world of biology, collaborate on projects, and contribute to initiatives that promote scientific awareness and sustainability. Together, let’s inspire each other and make a positive impact in the field of biology and beyond!
