"This is the Canal cleanup. We have partnered up with Maynooth today towns and Maynooth Green Campus to band together to clean most of the litter out of the canal. We have noticed that the canal has gotten filthy recently and needs a change. We will have people on the bank and people on the water working together to get all the rubbish out of the canal and surrounding area.We will be meeting at the MUCK container of paddling and at the canal if not paddling. "We are having a STEM ball open to all STEM and social science students! This event is a collaboration between Psychology society, Data Science society, Maths-Physics society and Geography society. The ball will take place April 14th at the Glenroyal Hotel, Maynooth.You must be in attendance of Maynooth University to purchase tickets. Attendees must be over 18 to attend the ball. Valid ID will be required during ticket sales and upon entry to the venue. No refunds will be issued unless the event is cancelled.The Maynooth University societies involved are not responsible for any ticket resale or exchange, this is done at your own risk. Tickets are registered to the ticket holder, so the Psychology Society must be notified in advance of the event in the case of any ticket transfers, so that ticket holder details can be updated.There will be photography and potential videography taking place throughout the night. Instead you can bring your used formal dresses and try out a new dress. By swapping dresses everyone will get the chance to try new styles without having to make any extra unnecessary purchases :)) However, there is no pressure to participate and it is also ok if you want to treat yourself to a brand new dress.On the day there will be a sign in sheet. You will be asked to sign in your dress with your name and dress's details. Then you can look around and if you find a dress you like, you'll find that dress on this sign in list. You sign your new dress out with your name. This way we will know where all of the dresses have gone. It is up to the dress owner if they would like it to be a permanent or temporary swap.** We ask that everyone treats the dresses with the utmost care. When the return process occurs the dress must be returned the way it was found."
