Annual General Meeting

"Hello Gamers™!Our Annual General Meeting is being held on Monday 20th April at 6.30pm in the Arts Lecture Theatre. It will mostly be a recap of 2025/26, and we will be electing the committee for the 2026/27.In addition, with the separation of eSports to form the eSports society, certain constitutional things need to be addressed as a result of this, and we will be taking the opportunity to make changes to the make up of the committee as well. The proposed changes are:Replacing the current Article 4.5 with:PresidentVice PresidentSecretaryTreasurerPublic Relations Officer (Media)Public Relations Officer (Design)Welfare and Equality OfficersFirst Year RepresentativeOrdinary Committee MemberEquipment and Events Officers:Board Games CoordinatorCard Games CoordinatorRole-Playing Games CoordinatorWargames CoordinatorVideo Games CoordinatorReplacing references to Vice President/Secretary in Article 6.2 with Vice PresidentReplacing references to Vice President/Secretary in Article 6.3 with SecretaryReplacing numbering references to Article 4.5 to reflect the new number of Equipment and Events OfficersThis proposed amendment will be put to a vote first, and voting on filling the committee positions will commence afterwards.For those intending to run for President, PRO (design), or PRO (media), a portfolio will be required as part of your intention to run. These will need to be in by Friday at 5pm at the latest. For the PRO's this will entail a showcase of your work, either art and design for PRO (design), and social media management for PRO (media). For President, this should be a showcase of the work you have done not just in Games, but throughout the rest of the Clubs and Societies both within and without the university.And as always, free pizza will be provided to all attendees.Looking forward to seeing you all there on Monday!"
