"This coming Saturday UL will again host the 3rd year of flag football intervarsities and the 1st after it's announcement as an Olympic sport. It will have us compete against the likes of UCD and trinity where we will try to clinch our third straight success in winning it all and hope to show that we are still one of the top flag teams in the country."

"This month's LARP is the Imbolg festival. The symbolic end of Winter and beginning of spring, a transitional event between Unseelie dominance and Seelie growth. The game will be a Hurling event, not the GAA Hurling but the original Kithain game that the early Irish cribbed to make their (obvioulsy inferior) version of it. Cantrips are allowed but as this is ritual warfare, the rules regarding formal duels are in place. If your freehold/mew/oathcircle is fielding a team let me know in your freehold channel. If you are an independent and want to lend your support to a team let me know. If you're trying to pre-cheat, as in interfere with the field or the other teams *before* the matches; it will ***almost*** certainly fail as you'd be combatting *very* old magic."

"The Classics Society presents a Careers Talk hosted by Eanan Strain! For many students studying Arts and Humanities, it often feels as though there are minimal career options in their field. Mr Strain will attempt to calm this unnecessary stress as he delves into the various career options for Classics students. There is so much more to the Classical world than teaching, and Mr Strain will analyse these options in detail. The belief that studying Classics leads to an unrelated career often puts students off studying it, but Mr Strain is here to change that mindset. We recommend this talk to anyone currently studying or considering studying Classics. The world of Classical studies is rich in job possibilities, which Mr Strain will explain in his talk. We hope to see you there! If you have any further questions or queries, please reach out to us via email or Instagram!"
