Green Week is fast approaching us- running from the 30th March to the 2nd April, the Environmental Society, Maynooth Green Campus and a whole host of other collaborators will be hosting activities, talks, swaps, stands and MORE, all to promote sustainable living on campus. It will culminate on the 2nd of April with the Eco Carnival in MSU from 10-4, where you will be able to find Enviro Soc running our regular clothes swap! You can find a schedule of these activities at https://www.maynoothuniversity.ie/green-campus/green-week, and be sure to keep an eye on our Insta @muenvirosoc where we will be posting a student-focused timetable (including some extra activities of our own!).

Please note that this week, our Mindful Meetup will NOT be from 1-2 as normal. This Wednesday, it will be postponed to 3-4. But it's for a good reason- from 3-4 this Wednesday our rock painting collab with Geography Soc is back, this time with a winter theme!! Hot chocolate, teas, coffees, and of course the chats, are still available too. Bígí linn :)

In collaboration with Bio Soc and a whole host of other MU STEM and Law societies, Enviro Soc is participating in the STEM vs Law Pub Quiz! Enviro Soc members are welcome to attend (look out for the Enviro Soc round of questions!). There is an entry fee of 3 euro, all of which will go towards Breast Cancer Ireland to support their great work. And of course, there are MANY prizes to be won so bígí linn! The quiz is on the 3rd of December from 6-8pm, and will be held upstairs in Brady's.

Hey members!
I wanted to tell you about a programme called An Taisce Climate Ambassadors. This is an amazing opportunity to receive some training and plenty of resources for climate action. Throughout your time as Climate Ambassador you'll attend regular network gatherings. These are where you will meet other activist and hear about the work they're doing.
It's a fantastic way to learn about the actions you can support, organise or take yourself. Even better it's a chance to make lifelong allies. Don't miss out.
Apply by October 25th: https://climateambassador.ie/?fbclid=IwAR3-OBzY0B07wpyno_77wiLKqZJxJMP93iRaXjI8tGiiMSpFdfZOC-PNleY

Guys, gals and non-binary pals!
We've returned to Maynooth Campus. And what a year we have in store. Check out all our cool upcoming events in the Events tab. Follow our socials for more regular updates
We have online meet-ups and our Annual General Meeting (AGM). Our AGM is how we elect our committee to run the society this year.
From the 12th to 24th of October we'll be collaborating on the STAND Festival, an amazing virtual festival with a bunch of class events. We'll be hosting four workshops and a panel discussion with them. More details on each event can be found on the Events section of our page or our social media.
That's just the next two weeks! After that we have lots of amazing plans. We're making a short film about climate refugees, a podcast/radio show, writing a blog, making cool posters, joining protests, doing nature walks, lobbying politicians, supporting national/international campaigns and of course providing workshops to give you all the skills you need.
It's going to be an amazing year, so join us for the journey.
