This week our current Events & Promotions Officer stepped down, so we now have that committee position up for grabs!

Events & Promotions Officer will be in charge of booking rooms and corresponding with the Clubs and Socs office in regards to events. It will also involve liaising with our PRO Officer and our secretary to keep the committee up to date with what is going on in the society.

The position requires an individual who is open to having fun and coming up with creative event ideas!

We look forward to hearing from you!

Aran Islands Trip

The time has come for us to organise our Annual Anthropology Society Trip.
This year we will be going to the Aran Islands from the 20th to the 22nd of March, during reading week.

  • THE TRIP:
The plan is to travel to Galway  on the 20th and take the ferry to Inis Mór. We will then stay 2 nights on Inis Mór including a day trip to Inis Meain. The Aran Islands are popular for their landscapes and cultural heritage. Here will see the different heritage sites that the island has to offer as well life on the island today. We will then return home later in the evening of the 22nd.

  • NB:
Although this trip is open to all Anthropology society members, regretfully we have a limited number of places available to us due to the availability of accomodation on the island, therefore there are only ******14 places******* available for this trip. Places will be on a first come first served basis.
