Our annual AGM to elect new committee members will be on Wednesday 24th April from 6pm in TSILT2. We hope as many of our members can attend as possible.

The event consists of multiple kayaking machines being set up on our campus where at least 1 kayak machine will be in operation for 24 hours (12 pm - 12 pm / 20th & 21st March). 50% of the proceeds will be donated to SUMMIT2SEA, and the other 50% of the donations will be donated to the development of our club such as safety equipment, fixing our container roof, etc. Another huge goal of our fundraiser is to promote paddling among young adults and students!

Beginner river trip to the River Inny where attendees will experience level 3 skills from a level 3 instructor.

The bus will pick up students at 10 am from the South Campus.

Attendees will be brought to the Inny Kayak Club in Ballymahon, Co. Longford.

Expected arrival is 11.30 am

There, we will meet level 3 instructor Bob Lacey, who will provide boats and paddles for attendees. 

The session will consist of level 3 rescues, rope work, safety training and river assessing. 

2 level 2 instructors will help out -- Ethan dowling and Matthew McCartney

Drop by our virtual stand tomorrow at fairs day to learn more about the club and join our family.

An inter-collegiate canoe polo competition is being hosted in Knockbracken Reservoir in Belfast for all skill levels.

we intend to bring three teams (one for each division) and an additional women's team, and to compete at the highest level we can. 

Canal Training to develop level 2 skills, muscle and polo skills for the upcoming ICUPs Polo Competition! 

As we are travelling to an inter-collegiate canoe polo competition at the end of the month, which is open to all skill levels, we are hosting an evening to allow some of our more experienced members to explain the ins and outs of the sport to newer/ less experienced members.

Inter-varsities kayaking competition! We compete against all other collegiate paddling teams in Whitewater, slalom, canoe polo, long distance, and boater-cross events to the highest standard.

Last year we brought home several medals and did our club proud, this year we hope to do the same.

Our Semester 2 Meet and Greet is upon us!

Join us in John Hume 6 (upstairs) and we shall tell you all about the club, who we are and what we do.

We will also talk about the Intervarsities that we are hosting in Kilkenny, so if you have gotten a confirmation email come along so you know what he story is!

It that time of year again

Its time for the muck freshers trip, this year we'll be heading to Castlebar Co. Mayo on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of November

were meeting t the container in Maynooth the morning of the 1st at 9 am and will be back in Maynooth at 9 pm (roughly) that Sunday evening

the trip will cost 60 Euro, which includes transport and accommodation for the weekend and all the gear you need

spaces are limited but we will have a waiting list so don't worry if you don't get a spot straight away

MUCK will be traveling to Limerick to compete in this year's Kayaking intervarsities. We will have teams competing in each category; White Water, Boatercross, Freestyles, Polo and Flatwater with competitions running from early friday morning until sunday afternoon. 

MUCK is Maynooth Univeristy's Canoe and Kayaking club! No experience is needed to join, just bring 2 euro to Fairs Day or the meet and greet to get involved! This event is for you to meet the commitee and others in MUCK before we start our weekly pool sessions that take place every Thursday. See ya there! 

A good opportunity to get back on a real river and learn some new skills.
