Well hello there ! We hope you had a wonderful christmas break and of course, that you have a very happy new year. We have finally survived the exams and now we are ready for an exciting semester two ! To celebrate the end of exams our president Jessica and Vis President Francis took a trip down to County Cork to check out the location for an exciting trip planned for the Philosophy society. Blackwater Castle co. Cork will surely make for a fairly exciting trip for the society. Twenty four hours of meeting new people, seeing new places and visiting an incredibly beautiful castle which is not new to the world of Philosophy, was certainly a treat. Getting to explore all the history and beauty the area has to offer and the faciities avaliable gave way to a further excitment. We are confident that our members can be fairly certain that they have a very exiciting event to look forward too. We have certainly found a gem, not to mention the lovely locals certainly adding to the experience. We can not wait to get started again in semester two and meet all of our new members as well as say an aul hello to our old ones. Have a lovely evening guys ! - jessie.

hey hey hey. a big hello and merry christmas from the philosophy family. We are proud to say we are officialy recognised as a society here in maynoth ! to kick off our grand opening we had a fabulous festive fundraiser on Tuesday the 18th of December. With jessies home baked cakes and the committees sweets & treats, we proudly spread christmas cheer all around. It was so lovely to have the opportunity to meet the student body for the first time. A huge congratulations to our raffle winners who won a lovely christmas gift or two to start off the holidays. A super big thank you to the Marys for helping us get started. The first of many fundraisers to come.
