This will be a meditation workshop led by the wonderful Louise Gilmore. This is a brilliant way to unwind in between lectures and especially seeing as its SHOW WEEK!

Our very own Tech & Construction officer, Joe Keane will be hosting a commuter dance workshop! Joe is this years Director/Choreographer of Minis '9to5' and this workshop will feature choreography from one of the numbers in the show. Make sure to pop down to the Small Sports Hall this Thursday from 3-4pm!

This weeks accredited workshop will be a Dance Workshop hosted by the stunning Emma Malone! As well as performing in Dundalk Musical Society's recent production of 'All Shook Up', Emma was also last years Production Liaison. Be sure to join us in Top Loftus this Wednesday from 6-7pm!!

Mini Musical rehearsals are back this week for each cast and with that in mind on Wednesday we are hosting a ‘Mini Musical Festival Launch Night’ in the Students Union Venue at 7pm.

This promises to be such a fun night with sneak previews of each show!

Kinky Boots will be one of this years Mini Musicals. As a sneak preview of what’s to come, Choreographer @claire_o_toole will be hosting a commuter dance workshop to one of the routines from the show.

The workshop will be from 11-12pm, Tuesday in the Small Sports Hall, Phoenix.

Due to popular demand, we are having another Open Mic night this Wednesday in O'Neills from 7pm. This is a brilliant opportunity to socialise with and get to know other members now that the dust has settled following the madness of the first 3 weeks. We will have our AGM this Thursday in John Hume Lecture Theatre 1starting at 6:30pm. Our AGM is one of the most important events of the year as we will be electing our First Year Rep as well as announcing what our 4 Mini Musical Shows will be this year. We will also have free pizza and wine at the event so if that's not reason enough to come then I don't know what is!!

On Thursday we will have our first commuter workshop of the year led by our very own Oisín Reynolds in the Small Sports Hall in the Phoenix Building from 1-2pm. Oisín was the choreographer of Newsies in our Mini Musicals Festival last year so you make sure to come for some electric choreography! (Please note this workshop is NOT accredited for music students).

This weeks Wednesday Workshop will be a songwriting session with Catherin Gallagher. 

This is a credited workshop held in First Dvivinity from 6pm. 

To avail of credits you must attend for a minimum of one hour. 

We encourage all of our members to attane dwhat is expected to be a highly educational and unique workshop event. 

This weeks commuter workshop will be a partner dance workshop hosted by Eve Callan. 

This will take place in First Divinity from 6pm on Wednesday, the 22nd of March. 

This is a credited workshop but is open to everyone. 

Music students must attend for a minimum of one hour to avail of credits. 

This Thursday, MUMS will be holding our launch night for our full-scale production of Into the Woods. 

This will take place in O' Neills bar from 8pm 

This will be an opportunity to get a taste of what the show has to offer, with special performances, poster series reveal, words from the production team and a chance to purchase tickets. 

Entry will cost 10 euro per person and will be met with a glass of prosecco and food.

This weeks Wednesday Workshop will be a Newsies themed dance slot hosted by Oisisn Reynolds. 

This will take place in First Divinity from 6pm to 8pm. 

This is a credited workshop but is open to all of our members to attend. 

Those using this workshop for credits will be required to attend for a minimum of one hour.

This Performing Arts Variety Night will be a collaboration between several performing arts societies. 

This will take place from 8pm in the MSU Venue on Monday, the 27th of February. 

This will be a fundraiser for the Charity Threshold, therefore, there will be an admission fee of 3 euro per student. 

There is a google form available on each society instagram. Please fill this out if you wish to perform. 

Performances will be adjudicated and the winners announced at the end of the evening. 

This is a collaboration with the Visual Media Society where members will be able to receive professional headshots. 

This will take place from 3pm - 4pm in the Small Sports Hall. 

The cost of these headshots will be 8 euro per person. 3 euro of this payment will go towards fundrainsing for our full-scale production of Into the Woods. 

Payment will be cash only. 

Please attend as early as possible to allow us to accomodate for everyone.

On Thursday, the 24th of November, we will be hosting our second and final rehearsal for the turning on of the Christmas Lights Event. 

This will be in collaboration with the Students Union and the music society. This is a fun event that will help spread the Christmas spirirt.

This weeks event will be Les 'Quiz'erables. This will be a musical themed table quiz held from 8:30pm in O' Neills pub, Maynooth. The maximum number for teams is 4 to 5 people. The prize for the winner will be two tickets to our Mini Musical Event.

This weeks Wednesday Workshop will be acting through song. This will be hosted by Ellie-Anne Smith in Top Loftus from 6pm. This is a credited workshop formusic students but is open to all of our members. 

We understand that many of our members commute to college everyday, therefore in order to cater to everyone and ensure each person feels included and can take part in our events we will be introducing weekly commuter slot workshops. These will be held every Thursday in the Small Sports Hall in Phoenix from 3pm - 4pm. Each week will have a different theme, taught by a different member, so we encourage as many people as possible to come along. 

This week we will be dancing with Mark so be sure to stop in for some fun and to meet some new people. No previous experience is required.

Broadway Backwards is our first charity event of the year with proceeds going towards Irish Breast Cancer. 

This will take place from 8-11pm on Thursday in the Maynooth Students Union Venue. Paid entry will be required for all attendees either in cash or through revolut at the door. We will then give each person a sticker to show proof of payment so that they can go between rooms. 

The idea behind this event is to perform a song from a role that you would not conventionally be cast in. If you wish to sing please find the link in our instagram bio to be added to the list. 

If you don't want to sing then please still come down and enjoy some great music and join us all for a really fun night.

Anna is a pro when it comes to singing and has musically directed a large number of shows within the society, so she will be giving some of her top tips and tricks to all of our singers, so be sure to stop in!!!

Here we will be voting on our constitution, electing our 1st year rep and announcing our 4 upcoming mini musicals!!!!!!
