For this final hour of Block Party, attendees are challenged to show off their building skills to try beat the committee in a head-to-head challenge!

We are so pleased to announce our most ambitious event yet! Block Party is our 12-hour Lego marathon running from 9am to 9pm on Tuesday the 27th in our regular location, the Rye Hall Events Space!

We’ll be joined by many other societies as well as a very special guest @brickworldireland! Make sure to pop down at any time to have some fun and get creative!

It’s The Great LEGO Build Off!! On December 13th We will be hosting our annual LEGO tournament in the MSU Venue and raising money for the fabulous folks at the Mayo Roscommon Hospice ??

You can sign up individually or in a team of up to 5 people! Entry costs are €5 per person and all funds will be donated to our charity partner!

There will lots and lots of amazing prizes to win on the night so regardless of your LEGO abilities, everyone has the chance to be a winner while raising money for such an important cause!! ??

We are proud to announce that we will be going to LEGOLAND Billund from April 2nd - April 6th 2024!!! This trip is exclusive to our members and spots will be allocated on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis!!

To secure your spot you will need to pay a deposit of €50 this Wednesday at 3pm!!

We will announce the location of the deposits via email to make sure only members have access to the trip!

For our first event we will be having our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in JHL4. This is where we will elect our committee for this year :)) The positions available are:

• Public Relations Officer (PRO)
• Equipment Officer x2

We will also be watching a movie and eating some pizza at the event so even if you aren’t thinking of running for a position, come along and get to know your fellow LEGO fans and find out what we have planned for the year ahead :))

It's time to talk LEGO!!! We are so excited to welcome @professor_brickman and @minimalbricks as special guests who will share some insights into the world of LEGO, their tips and tricks, and the many benefits that LEGO has to offer!!

Come one come all to our biggest event of the year - The Great LEGO Build off!

Teams of 2-6 people will battle it out in a bid to become Maynooth's very own LEGO Masters!

Tickets are €5 per person and all proceeds go to this year's MSU Charity partner, Threshold. 

All happening in the MSU Venue and doors open at 5pm. We will also be announcing the winner of our LEGO Mystery jar which took place on Monday!

There are some amazing prizes up for grabs too so come by and show off your skills!

MU Lego Soc are delighted to announce its first ever guest speaker event!!  We are absolutely thrilled to be introducing you guys to professor_brickman and minimalbricks, two amazing Lego enthusiasts who want to share some advice with you about all things Lego!!! We will bein JHL5 this Thursday and starting at 6:30pm, so grab some snacks and bring your friends along to this amazing opportunity for any Lego fan :))

Come by and join us and Cancer Soc at this years amazing Relay for Life Event!! The goal is to raise as much as possible to prove that we won't stop until Cancer does!! We will be in the Main SPorts Hall from 6am onwards so make sure to pop in and run a few laps with us in-between building your creations!!

We are very excited to announce that our AGM will be held on Monday 21st November at 6pm in JHL4! Everyone is welcome to join us on the night!
We will be introducing our committee and sharing our plans for events this year as well as electing the new committee position of Equipment's Officer! This role will be open to anyone from any year who is interested, but first years are especially welcome to this role :))

Following the excitement of our AGM, we will be screening The LEGO Movie to top it all off! There will also be some free pizza on the night!
