We’d also like to pass along a request from the University Careers Office regarding the STEM Careers Fair, which took place in the TSI building on October 15th. They’d appreciate any feedback you can provide on the event. Your thoughts on what you enjoyed and areas for improvement will help make next year’s fair even better.

We’re excited to kick off our first-ever STEM coffee morning this Thursday! ?? In collaboration with the Computer Science Society, Maths Society, PhysChem Society, Data Science Society, and Biology Society, this STEaM Coffee Morning will be happening every week—and we’d love to see you there.

RoboÉireann Demo Match – Friday, November 15th ?

Get ready for something totally unique! In collaboration with the Engineering and Robotics Society, Maynooth’s very own robot soccer team, RoboÉireann, is putting on a demo match just for students. These aren’t your average robots—they’re completely autonomous, meaning they’re playing on their own with no remote control. Trust us, it’s cooler (and funnier) than it sounds, and it’s amazing to watch!

? Tip: Use the “Pomodoro Technique” to boost focus! ? Set a timer for 25 minutes of focused study, then take a 5-minute break. Repeat this four times, then take a longer break. It’s a great way to stay productive and avoid burnout.

Are you interested in tech and looking for a supportive, beginner-friendly hackathon experience? Hi everyone! 

I hope you're all doing well!  A huge thank you to everyone who visited us at the Clubs and Societies Fair last week. It was fantastic to meet so many of you in person, and we hope you enjoyed the free stickers and sweets at our stand!  

Another big thank you to those who joined us on Monday evening for the Accenture Pizza Party.  It was amazing to see over 80 attendees! We appreciate you coming out, and we’re grateful to Accenture for sponsoring the event and sharing insights about their fantastic Graduate Program. Many of you found it highly informative! 

As a quick recap, applications for the Graduate Program close on October 21st.  There are positions available in Modern Engineering, Tech Transformation, Cyber Security, Consulting, and Analytics. Accenture will also open applications for their three-month summer internships in February, so keep an eye out for those opportunities!
