Hi all, just a quick update on the crim soc hoodies. We apologise for the delay in getting them to you. The latest update from the shipping company was that the hoodies would be ready by mid-term and we would be ready to collect final payments and give out the hoodies on the Monday back after mid-term. However, due to the college being closed until at least the 29th of March, we will have to wait until the college re-opens to do so. The full cost of a hoodie is €27, so for those of you who paid a deposit, the remainder will be due upon collection of the hoodie. Thanks for all your patience and understanding. We hope you have an enjoyable break and stay safe.

Dr McInerney is a member of An Garda Síochána. Has played a key role in strengthening relationships between the Gardaí and minority ethnic communities in Ireland through his role as the head of the ethnic relations unit. Dr McInerney will be giving a guest lecture this Thursday the 25th from 5pm in JHL5 as part of Dr. Brandon's module "Contemporary Issues in Criminology".
We feel this will be a very interesting talk as well as a fantastic opportunity to meet Dr McInerney and ask him any questions you may have about an Garda Síochána or his specific area of work. The guest lecture is open to students of all disciplines.
