Hey all,

Yesterday our Christmas tennis tournament kicked off at 2 pm, the turnout was amazing and it was wonderful to see everyone having fun and playing tennis so wonderfully (despite the temperamental weather). Thank you to everyone who participated in this tournament and congratulations to our two winners who played fantastically though-out the afternoon.

As second semester wraps up we would like to thank everyone who has come down to a practice or played at the tennis courts and hope to see you all back next semester when a variety of new activities and events will be planned out- so keep and eye on your emails and the Instagram page.

Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year.

Hey all,

Thank you for your interest in the Christmas tennis tournament. The date we have chosen is Tuesday 17th December from 2 to 5 pm at the tennis courts on campus. If you're sure that you can attend at this date and time, please fill out this form below.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe5VYyWiPN0Y_XnuoHaj4OLt79zhKuqJ5zZAvAF6O6Dbh3rdg/viewform?usp=dialog

If you select that you have no partner, you will be given a partner by Monday 16th. We understand that many people showed interest, but we had to choose the date that would suit the majority of people. If you aren't able to take part in this event don't worry, as we will have many more events scheduled for next semester.

Hi All,

The Tennis Club is thinking about hosting a fun and festive Christmas-themed tennis tournament during the last week of the school term, and we’d love to know if this is something you’d be interested in!

Here’s what we’re considering:

  • Beginner-Friendly: Open to everyone, no matter your skill level.
  • Doubles Format: Don’t have a partner? No problem! We can pair you up.
  • Prizes: Awards for the teams that finish in 1st and 2nd place.
  • Festive Fun: Snacks, drinks, and plenty of holiday cheer to enjoy off the court.
  • Tentative Date: During the last week of term, exact date and time TBC based on interest.

This would be a great opportunity to unwind before the holidays, meet other club members, and have some fun in a relaxed environment.

If this sounds like something you’d love to participate in, please let us know by filling out this quick form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1WRk0gYj0tJi1_9IoGeOnt3DiKd3pQUkAoZZqsrGN3Oo/viewform?edit_requested=true. Your feedback will help us decide whether to move forward with the event.

We hope you’re as excited as we are about the possibility of this tournament! Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and we look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks!

Let's Get Started!

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all settling into the new semester! I want to start by apologizing for the delay in getting things rolling this year – we've had a few committee issues to sort through, but everything is back on track, and we're excited to get the club up and running for the year.

This year is shaping up well, with lots of plans in the works for training, matches, and social events. To make sure we can bring these ideas to life, we're looking for enthusiastic members to join the committee in the following roles:

Public Relations Officer:  Help us grow our presence on social media and communicate with members through emails.

Treasurer: Manage the club’s budget and finances.

Year Reps: Represent your year and help communicate between members and the committee.

If you're interested in applying or have any questions, feel free to reply to this email or reach out to me directly. It's a great opportunity to get involved more on campus and for your CV!

I've had a lot of questions about the timetable, it's not entirely finalised yet, and more sessions for specific levels will be introduced the week after next. But for next week we will have two sessions, Monday 14th 2-4pm and Tuesday 15th 10am-12pm. These sessions are open to anyone regardless of level or experience! Perfect for beginners looking to get a feel for tennis before beginners sessions open up!

Looking forward to seeing you all on the court soon!
