Location: DCU Sports Complex, Glasnevin Campus
Members shooting with Maynooth university will be making their own way to the DCU Sports Complex to meet the rest of the members. The same applies to on their way back from the competition, they’ll be making their own way back. We meet with our members and prepare for the shoot as a group for both days.
Schedule below:
Saturday: Session 1 registration at 8:30am, session 1 shoot at 9:00am. Session 2 registration at 12:20, session 2 shoot at 1pm. Saturday shoot ends at 4:10pm
Sunday: Registration at 9am, 9:45 qualification rounds start. Match at 1:20pm, medal ceremony begins at 3:20pm and the day ends at 3:45pm.

Location: Trinity Sports Centre, Pearse Street
The Intervarsity is split up between 2 days, Saturday and Sunday. For each day, members who are attending will make their own way there and we all meet as a group outside the Trinity Sports Centre. Once we are all there we head in and get set up as a group. After the competitions is over, everyone makes their own way home.

Saturday = 9:15 session 1 registration, 9:45 session 1 shoot . 13:00 session 2 registration, 13:45 session 2
Sunday = (Schedule not provided, will likely be the same as Saturday’s) – Provisional start time is 10am and provisional end time is 5pm

Halloween Fun Shoot

Location: Phoenix Sports Building
Meeting in Phoenix Sports Hall for 9am. Registration and equipment set up will start at 9:15am. Session 1 will begin at 9:45am and will consist of 2 rounds that last 1 hour 20 each. Session 2 registration will start at 1pm, and the shoot begins at 1:45pm, which will consist of 2 rounds that will lats 1 hour 20 minutes each. The hall will be cleaned up before 6pm and all changing rooms will be cleaned as well from setting up.
We will have a seating area for anyone who needs to sit down beside the committee table with the excel sheet of our archer, the money box which will be always closely monitored, and will have 10 targets set up along the back wall, and a timing system.

MU Archery Bake Sale

We will be holding a bake sale to raise funding for the club and 50% of proceeds will go to our chosen Charity- Ataxia Ireland (Ataxia is a progressive disorder mainly affecting the nervous system), we will be in the arts block on Monday 25th of November between 10 and 4. Any donation will help to make the club better for current and future archers and help Ataxia Ireland.

Shoot the Slur is one of our events organised for Mental Health Week. The aim is to write done slurs that you have been called in the past which you are comfortable with writing down on sticky notes, stick them on the board and shoot them. (Students must take precaution when writing down slurs as it may cause offence to others). Happy Shooting!

The annual Halloween Intervarsity is an event perfect for archery beginners. Its a fancy dress fun shoot where beginners will learn how archery competitions run, how to score arrows, and have a chance to win prizes for performance and best dressed! As archers from all college clubs attend its also a great opportunity to make friends from other universities.

HELP, WE ARE CALLING FOR ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET!!
There's been an outbreak, we dont know how it started but its changing people, they're becoming more aggressive, it started with irritablity and just ecalated from there, now I dont even recgonise them, its not them it can't be, they're gone and in there place are these monsters, we need to defeat them! That's where you come in, Meet us at the large sports hall this Saturday at 1pm and we'll make our stand. The best warriors will be rewarded, and all survivals will be fed........with pizza.
Just to clarify, this Saturday Maynooth Archery club will be holding it's annual Halloween Shoot. This is your chance to get experience in what compeititions are like and how fun they can be! There will be prizes for all those who place in each category and pizza for all. There will also be prizes for the best costumes so dont forget to come wearing, your spookiest, craziest or down right grooviest costumes.! Entry is 5 euro and all equipment will be supplied.
