"Fantastic wins for both men and women 1st XV squads as the two teams remain TOP of their leagues and unbeaten. Our men continued their winning streak and on a day where 3rd year social science scholar Lee Franzoni (pictured) grabbed his first All Ireland League try, the squad dismantled a Buccaneers side full of Connacht contracted players and academy talent 34-10 to stretch our winning streak to 23!Our women's first team also had a massive win at home to Trinity keeping them scoreless 15-0 with superb performances from Orlaith Murray (year 2 arts)! Our u23 men drew on Friday in Energia Park against Old Wesley 26-26 in a highly entertaining game. Our under 20s lost again as their injury ravaged side felt the tiredness in the last 25 minutes falling to a 13-33 defeat when it was well poised at 13-14 - Roscommon rugby scholar Tim Lambe putting in another fantastic display.Come a.ong to touch rugby tonight or get in touch if you are keen to play for any of our 5 men's squad, under 20 premier side or our 2 women's firstname.lastname@example.org"

Many people got up to sing, and others just joined in with them which is just as amazing. We can't for the next open mic night to top this one!"
"Pouring Acrylic is the coolest new form of art! it's loved by many artist and beginners, you do not need prior art background at all. it's fun, it's creative, relaxing, there's no limit to this experience. The relaxing/ therapeutic nature of this art form will allow you to create a beautiful master piece that you can take home with you after the workshop, and use it to decor your bedroom/living room to add a modern interior design style. If you're interested in coming along please email me at (email@example.com) to book a spot! The workshop is on Tuesday 19/11/19 starting at 3 to 5pm.(the fee for joining the workshop is €3 to cover material costs)Hope to see you all there!"
"Great weekend for men and women 1st XVs but male 2nd XV, U23 XV, 20s suffer defeat!Great victories for our men's 1st XV with a fine win away in Limerick versus Old Crescent with a superb solo try from first year Matias Giannetti and further stand out performances from Daragh Bellanova (1st year), Brendan McSorely (year 3, try scorer pictured), Daniel Murphy (third year) and Darren Hudson (PG)!Our women also had a another super win on the road, this time at Mullingar! 7 scholarship girls among the starting XV! Well done Jai, Lia, Ciara, Katelynn, Bianca, Alice and Ava! Superb.Tough day for our 20s losing heavily at UCD against a very strong outfit containing no fewer than 7 Leinster A players from the recent matches. Our squad has been ravaged with injury of late, losing more in the Conroy cup last weekend in our defeat to Trinity and victory over Queen's Belfast. We will keep working!Queries on playing rugby at any level please get in firstname.lastname@example.org"

"Hi all,We have been contacted about a fascinating talk taking place this week which we think you may enjoy - please see below for details:Dr McInerney is a member of An Garda Síochána. Has played a key role in strengthening relationships between the Gardaí and minority ethnic communities in Ireland through his role as the head of the ethnic relations unit. As part of Dr Brandons module 'Contemporary Issues in Criminology', Dr McInerney will be giving a guest lecture this Thursday the 25th from 5pm in JHL5. He will be discussing some contemporary issues in Criminology, in particular surrounding his work with ethnic minorities in Ireland. This should be a very interesting talk as well as a fantastic opportunity to meet Dr McInerney and ask him any questions you may have about an Garda Síochána or his specific area of work. The guest lecture is open to students of all disciplines. We look forward to seeing you there!"

"IMPORTANT VOLLEYBALL ANNOUNCEMENT Hello Everyone! After a lot of administration, we have a change which will make volleyball fun for all players!Beginners and Improving Sessions will take place from 6pm-8pm Every TuesdayBoys and Girls Team Only Training will follow the usual timetable. - We urge team players not to come to the beginners / improving session with the exception of the boys team.- Team Training attendees we advise you to bring adequate sportswear and WATER to training- New schedule starts immediately (from 22nd October and on-wards)Why are we making these changes? We have a lot of members this year and not enough hall space to host it.But by separating the two we can give beginners the attention and resources to play volleyball, and give team players the space they need to train hard.Beginners won't get to play Thursday! That's not fair :(We admit volleyball has a court space issue, with only 12 players on a court at once.Trust me! It would be 10 billion percent more fun playing with a full double court without team players for 2 hours than on half a cramped court for 4 hours. If you are confused or have any questions, please check the Facebook or the Club MULIFE page. Or send us a email (email@example.com) or a Facebook message!See you all at training!"

"This week our production team worked endlessly as we conducted our auditions for our Mini Musical showcase for the 19/20 academic year. After listening to over 105 auditions over the space of four days, the team had a very difficult decisions to make and discussions began on who would be cast as who and in what musical people would play a role in. Eventually, our production team made their decisions and our casts have been set for the Mini Musicals this year! Well done to everyone that auditioned and congratulations to those who received roles! "
"On the 10th of October 2019, out very on Gavin Murphy conducted a welcome class to the society. In this event, Having introduced himself to old and new members, and had everyone moving from the get go with physical warm ups, a musical theatre people tend to do. Members took pat in brainteasers, improvisation and much more all while getting to know new people. Gavin's idea allowed members to introduce themselves to the society and got the ball rolling on our events for the year and allowing members to get to know each other in a fun and interesting way. "

"On the 3rd of September we took part in a panel discussion at the launch of a groundbreaking report on Student Mental Health by the Union of Students in Ireland (USI) in Trinity College Dublin. I was asked to give a student response to be included in the report which was as follows"This research lays out clearly much of what we knew anecdotally. Namely that students are an at-risk group and are relying consistently upon the on-campus counselling service. Unfortunately, it is also clear that there is an inconsistency in the quality of assistance available. What we can see is that on-campus counselling services have the potential to make a huge difference nationally to the success of a group which suffers from staggeringly high rates of anxiety. The qualitative reports ring true to me as to what has been working and what is needed. Waiting lists are having a negative impact but on the positive we can see how effective a diverse team can be which includes an occupational therapist and an option for CBT. Crucially, students have highlighted the need for psychiatrists on staff so more serious concerns can be handled within the service we are most likely to use. I’m personally feeling very positive about this report and how it reflects our experiences."You can read more about the report and future steps in supporting Student Mental Health here: https://www.stand.ie/student-mental-health-report/We hope you will campaign with us for adequate services and to reduce stigma!"
