Maynooth Ultimate Frisbee Hosted its first 24 hour event 'Disc Till Dawn' on the John Hume Green and in the Phoenix Sports building this past Monday the 23rd at 10am until Tuesday the 24th at 10am.

The event was held in support of Women's Aid and Men's Aid featuring a series of challenges from social media, a raffle, and saw approximately 28,392 passes of the frisbee to a team of approximately 11 people who stayed throughout the night and countless others who stayed during the day, watched, supported, threw a disc with us or made a donation!

We are incredibly greatfull to all the support we recieved from on and off campus, and to the amazing community in Ultimate Frisbee from accross the colleges to the clubs who all helped to support us. We are proud to say the 24 hour event has achieved a final tally of €1,000 riased that will be split and donated to Women's Aid and Men's Aid.

In particular we want to thank the businesses who provided items for our raffle, the Maynooth Jewelers, Creed Coffee Roasters and EPIC the Irish Emigraiton Museum for their generous support for this cause.

There will be a great deal of sleep to catch up on now and prizes to be claimed, now that the draw has taken place (if you have won we will be in contact with you shortly!). See you at Intervarsities this weekend, or at training on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays

Wishing you all the best,

The Committee at Maynooth Ultimate Frisbee.
