The Women in STEM Society at Maynooth University is proud to present STEM Unfiltered 2026, an inspiring panel event celebrating International Women’s Month.

This event brings together a diverse group of accomplished women working across the STEM industry to share their honest, unfiltered journeys — from their early academic experiences to navigating the professional world.

Panelists include:

Afua Adu – Software Engineer at Dell Technologies
Oluchi Ngozi Anyabuike – Principal Software Engineer at Fidelity Investments
Hope Boyle – Head Tutor at the Maynooth Computer Science Centre
Rita Okonkwo – Software Engineer at Microsoft and author
Emma O’Connor – Software Engineer at Dell Technologies

The panel will explore key themes including:

Finding your path into STEM, Overcoming challenges and workplace barriers, Navigating imposter syndrome and building confidence, Lessons learned and advice for students

Unlike traditional panels, STEM Unfiltered focuses on authenticity over perfection — creating a space where speakers can share real experiences, challenges, and growth.

The event will conclude with an interactive Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to engage directly with industry professionals.

Event Details:

? Location: Arts Classhall F (TBC), ? Date: Thursday ? Food and refreshments provided

This is a unique opportunity for students to gain insight, ask questions, and connect with women thriving in STEM fields.

All students are welcome.
