Hi everyone we are hosting our Halloween event the 24th of October. We are encouraging you all to come dressed in costume as will all the committee members. 

Theme for dress up: Cartoon Characters

We are going to have individual tote bags for everyone to design. All supplies will be provided so all you need to bring is the creative ideas!! Whether you come alone or come with your friends you are definitely going to enjoy this, I mean who else is going to be able to say they designed their own tote bag. 

Not to mention we will have music, snacks and nonalcoholic drinks at the event.

• The Theme of dress to impress will be decided on instagram polls
• ??There will be 3 rounds of 5 mini games that teams will play to answer the quickest which will allow them to have first pick of the clothes options.
• ??The rest of the teams will then pick their item of clothing at the same time without the advantage of the first pick.
• ??When the outfits are picked the teams will present their outfits and the other teams will be allowed to give them a score from 1 to 5 stars.
• ??The group with the highest number of stars at the end of the show will win.

This is an end of year celebration for Fashion society along with an AGM for next years committee. It is a masquerade themed night.

This is a very beginner-friendly jewelry Workshop hosted by an independent creator. This is a space to allow for creativity and for people to come together and learn something. Andreas will lead the workshop, teaching people to learn to make some simple things.

This is a crochet workshop hosted by our own committee members. It is a space for everyone, from people just interested in learning about it to someone who is a beginner or even someone who is far more developed in crocheting. It is a creative space for people to learn something new, socialize, and make friends. Our committee members will be teaching people how to crochet. It is a commuter-friendly event, so everyone is welcome.

Sip n' Paint is a small, friendly event orchestrated by the Fashion Society. In other words, it is a sip (only serving Apple, Cranberry, Orange juices), and paint event that will allow our fashionistas to delve into their creative minds, but also create new friendships and experiences.

Ultimately, we want all of our members to have a fun time!. 

The Fashion society will be holding its AGM event this Tuesday the 26th of September with doors opening at 6:15pm. This will be a chance to get to know your other society members, meet some off the committee and to also find out about what other positions are open.

The fashion society are hosting music bingo. This will be a great evening for students to have some fun listening to music and socialising with their friends. Their will also be prizes for winners and food for everyone. 

Start off Maynooth Fashion week with the premier of our BHM documentary followed by the showing of ‘Confessions of a Shopaholic’ movie style snacks and drinks will be provided ! Can’t wait to see you there 

This event is a collaboration event with the Maynooth dance society.Everyday at different times students from the University are invited to take part in different dance class happening!.This is a great way for students to take a break from their studies and doing something fun and enjoyable. These events focus on building students confidence through dancing

This event is a collaboration event with the Biology society. This a space for all society members and anyone else who is interested to come together and design different things. There will be one second for the Biology society to design their lab coats and another section for everyone who doesn't have a lab coat to design whatever their heart desires. This event is 2 hours long and there will be snacks and food provided

This event is a collaborative event organised with Maynooth Mental Health Society, Maynooth Pyhchology society, Maynooth Creative Writing society and Maynooth DJ society. This event is a ticketed event at 3 euro and all the money made goes towards the charity. There will be food and snacks provided through the duration of the night. Each society member is in charge of organising a quiz with 10 questions, each questions being the theme of their society, offering great prizes at the end of each quiz. The maynooth Fashion society will also be provided a creative tote bag making session for people to get involved with. At the end of the night the DJ society will end the night with some music and more snacks will be provided

Creative Spaces is a fashion soc event where we provide the music the space and the snacks and you can come and create as you please. this is a space for you to feel free to create and work amongst other creatives on anything that you would like and if you don't have anything in mind don't worry, you can join our jewelry making station too! fashion Soc has always got something for you so make sure to come and and have a great time and create and vibe

Sip & Style 2 is the part two of this event from first semester. This time we’re changing things up a little and giving our members the opportunity to expand their choice of what to ‘create’’. Come and create, as the poster says!

The fashion Society presents the practical series where we will be providing society members with events where they will have an opportunity to learn a practical skill that they ca take away with them. The first workshop of this series will be a sewing workshop with the first class being a Patterns/ Garment construction class which will be taught by Stephanie Constantinescu, followed by a 101 on sewing basics next week. We hope to see you all there!
