Maths & Physics FAQs
Can I get help with Maths and/or Physics related coursework?
For anyone looking for help with their coursework we recommend going to the Maths Support Centre or tutorials and other department organised supports. The society does have a regular study group session (on Fridays 1-2pm in Arts Hall C) and you are more than welcome to come along to work on coursework either by yourself or in a group.
Do I have to study Maths and/or Physics to be part of the society?
Nope, anyone with an interest is welcome!
What does the Maths and Physics society do?
We are a group of maths and physics students that meet up regularly and run some events. Our usual meet up is Wednesday evening in MS2 which often includes puzzles, problems and pizza. We also have a separate meet up on Friday afternoons which is more aimed as a quiet study group session. And of course, we have larger events throughout the year such as interesting talks and fun table quizzes.
